Are You Familiar with the "$100 Process?"

In our Money Makeover Seminars we suggest people participate in the $100 Process. This process is designed to raise our prosperity consciousness so we have more $100 bills to enjoy in our life.

Most p
eople have a $5, $10, $20 bill consciousness.  If you look in your wallet or pocket book at the mHundredsoney you have there is it mostly small bills?  If so you are attracting those bills.  When you begin to have $100 on you then you attract more of them.

Here is the $100 bill process:

You agree to always carry a $100 bill with you, with the agreement you cannot spend it unless you go to the bank within 24 hours and replace it. This keeps you concentrating on $100 instead of $10 or $20. You can buy many items in the store for under $100. This has a positive affect on your self-esteem and your self-image.

Remember, if you spend your $100 bill you must go to the bank and get a new one within 24 hours.

Why Would I Need a Money Makeover?

Several years ago when I was doing some interesting work assisting small business owners in getting preferred access to sources of business capital, I stumbled across an important insight:
Ball_and_chain
Along the way, we often make decisions and choices that end up hurting our ability to improve our financial condition further down the road.

This principle is also true of individuals.

For example, the divorce process is stressful and emotional with so many decisions to make. There is a tendency to rush through the process without weighing the possible consequences, which can have negative financial impact your family in the years to come.

There are several other examples I can provide where making the wrong choice has made it more difficult financially for people than needs be.

Consider your current situation...

Are you:

  • Tired of the same old spending-and-struggling-to-save routine?
  • Struggling to reach a financial goal?
  • Looking for more leeway with your cash flow?
  • Seeking guidance for improving your credit score?

Some of the reason behind these concerns have to do with your attitudes and previous experiences relating to money.  Some of these are even planted in us as children by our parents and family members.

When growing up, what messages did your parents give you about money?

  • Was money discussed openly in your family?
  • Was it impolite to discuss money in your family?
  • Who handled the money in your family, Mom or Dad?
  • Did you have an allowance? If yes, did you earn your allowance by doing chores?
  • Did you have less money than your peers?
  • Did your family have enough money to buy everything you really wanted?
  • Did your family have enough money to buy everything you really needed?
  • If your parents said “no” to one of your desires was it because of money?
  • In your family, did you associate money with rewards?
  • In your family, did you associate money with arguments?

If you have been concerned about whether you are looking at your finances from the right attitude and perspective, a Free Money Makeover is a good site to provide you with no-cost information and a informative seminar that can get your thinking more in line with your vision of improved financial success.

The site also features a confidential self-quiz to help you get started on your path to discovery.  Check it out - you'll be glad you did.

If You Have Money to Burn, Please Ignore This...

In today's "challenging" economic marketplace, individuals are faced with Money_to_burn major and complex personal economic issues such as credit card debt, home foreclosures, loss of equity due to the collapse of the sub-prime lending market, and escalating numbers of personal bankruptcies.

These issues have focused the nation’s attention on the importance of financial education for adults.  Educational experts, and a growing number of advocates believe that reaching children as early as possible helps them to develop solid skills and to establish financial habits that will serve them throughout their lives.

One of the people I know who is on the forefront of helping people untangle this mess and put them on a improved financial footing is Bob Brumm. an accomplished speaker, author and business owner serving corporate, charitable, sales, and youth organizations.

Bob has released his new book entitled "Do You Have Money to Burn" that offers practical money saving strategies valued at over $500 a month, and much more over a lifetime. Bob’s Purpose is to expand Knowledge, convey Opportunity Awareness and Encouragement that empowers all audiences and individuals globally to rise to any challenge.

If people can or would just take a few minutes each day to see what they actually spend, they would realize the real cost of their spending. In this insightful book, Bob Brumm shows several ways to “adjust” spending habits and build a savings habit.

According to Bob (and I heartily agree) "Some people call me a cheapskate, I prefer to call myself fiscally attentive"

Saving money and better yet, earning money on what you save solidifies the foundation of your financial future. Especially in the current economy.

You'll want to get your hands on this book.  It'll pay for itself by the time yu get through the first chapter.

What's a "Free Money Makeover?"

Through a public speakers group I belong to, I met Glenn Smyle who developed an innovative educational tool called "A Free Money Makeover" an online program that provides people a free seminar to help them discover the "roots" affecting how they think of and use money in their lives.

What is particularly cool about this tool is that it takes people back to their very first experience with money as children
and what decisions they made about money at that time that are affecting how much money they have in their life today.

Money The way we perceive money, is formed by the consciousness we had about money in our younger lives.  These early perceptions and attitudes we formed about money becomes a "Stand" and it affects our experience with money the rest of our lives.

In the free online seminar that is available at
"A Free Money Makeover",  you can change that "Stand" to a better more positive one and one that helps you increase Money in our lives

It is free to anybody who wants to improve the way they relate to money matters, and provides a no-cost way for you to build a family tree of others you know who can also use help in changing their relationship to money (friends, children, relatives, etc).  The "A Free Money Makeover" gives you a free website where you can easily add others who you feel could benefit from this important information.

The website also provides a free quiz enabling you to see if your "Foundation Belief System About Money" Is Positive or Negative.  It's a great way to assess your "Money IQ"

While the money awareness seminar information is free to all, you can also become an "Active Family Member" for 19.95/month which enables you to build a network of other Entrepreneurs, non-profits, and faith-based groups that want to make this service available to others.  Besides the seminar information and website, Active Family Members can help others and at the same time receive a stable, significant and monthly residual income whether you are working, sleeping or playing.

In today's troubled economy, people are increasingly struggling with significant money issues, and looking for answers.  The answers are often rooted in the financial decisions and choices made in the past.  How can you be assured that your future decisions will be better, or have improved outcomes, if you don't fully understand why you made them in the first place?
